Task Monster Privacy Policy
Last updated: 12 September 2026
This privacy policy applies specifically to the Task Monster app by Binary Meadow Ltd. For our general policy across all products, see our website privacy policy.
Task Monster is local-first. Your tasks and your monster stay on your device and are never sent to us.
Data we collect
Task Monster does not collect personal data on our servers. It handles the following data, which stays under your control:
Tasks & monster progress
Your tasks, groups and your monster’s state are stored locally on your device. They are not transmitted to Binary Meadow or any third party.
No account required
The app works without sign-in. We do not ask for your name, email, phone number, or location, and we do not build a profile of you.
Optional Google Drive backup
If you choose to connect Google Drive, a backup of your tasks is stored in your own Drive account so you can sync across devices. This only happens when you connect it, and nothing is sent to us.
No analytics or tracking
Task Monster does not embed advertising SDKs or third-party analytics, and does not track your activity across other apps or websites.
Third-party services
- Google Play — distributes the app and processes installs under its own privacy policy.
- Google Drive — stores your optional backup in your own account, only if you connect it, under Google’s privacy policy.
Data sharing & selling
We do not sell your personal data, and we do not share it with third parties for advertising. Task Monster contains no advertising and no third-party usage analytics.
Children’s privacy
Task Monster is a family-friendly app suitable for all ages. Because it is local-first and collects no personal data, it can be used safely by children as well as adults.
Your rights
Because Task Monster does not collect or hold your personal data, there is no personal information for us to access, correct, or delete on your behalf. If you would like to understand more about your rights under UK GDPR, or have any question about this policy, contact us at hello@binarymeadow.com.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as Task Monster evolves. Material changes will be reflected on this page with a revised “last updated” date.
